It's been a pretty interesting year this time around. It's been a little hectic, a little stressful, a little crazy... but it's also been pretty fun. It's been slow for the channel here, and frankly, that might not change anytime soon if my future is laid out the way I envision it. However, I have had my good times here, and I hope to have more come the start of the new decade. Here's to hoping you all have a good New Year!

Unless it says otherwise, if you're thinking about using any sprites I've assembled, please ask me first. I only say that because a lot of my earlier sprites are really just edits made from sprites I've seen on this site. That's why I'm extremely picky about it all.

Heck, when I first started making sprites and such, I had no accounts anywhere on the Internet. I was just making sprite comics for fun. I had no concept of asking for permission or giving credit pretty much because I was never gonna put any of it out there on the Internet. It was all solely something I was doing because I could.

It was when I decided to post stuff here on DeviantArt that things got fishy. I knew I needed to start giving credit, but it still took a while to remember I never asked for permission in the first place. I got most of that handled since then, of course. I either got permission to use the sprites, or took them down and made them from scratch. The only exception is Ash's overworlds. As I've said, they're made by Metapod23, the creator of Pokemon Ash Gray. That's how I got the sprites for Ash; I took screenshots from the game and made a set out of them. What's iffy about all this is the case where it seems (s)he's gone inactive. The last state of activity I've seen from him/her goes as far back as April this year, so I don't think I have any way of contacting him/her either way. However, I've edited them so heavily, they really only have a passing resemblance to his/her sprites, as if they're made by different people but happen to look familiar. I still edited his/her sprites, though, so I've still given him/her credit. Should I find a way to contact him/her, I definitely shall, but I think, at this point, the sprites are different enough for everything to be alright there.

So yeah, that's basically all I wanted to say. Basically, a lot of my sprites are edited because I didn't have the talent back then. That's why I'm so picky about how people use them and how they give credit and whatnot.

I think it was one of my favorite Directs as of today. Here's a couple highlights for me:

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore

While this game's story was nothing to write home about, it looked beautiful and the gameplay was addicting, especially after playing Persona 5. However, due to terrible marketing and the Wii U's lack of sales, this game kinda fell into obscurity... until this updated rerelease came about. Now that it's on the Switch and has tons more content, it'll garner much more attention, and hopefully, a lot more people will have fun with this game. I've been meaning to finish the game myself, but with so many other consoles, I started paying less attention to my Wii U. Luckily, I should be able to finish what I started once it's on the Switch.

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition

I was talking to my friends about TMS#FE, and right as I was putting my phone down, I heard Xenoblade's OST play, and I practically shot up. Then, I saw Shulk in HD glory, and I was absolutely ecstatic. You can find a good comparison of the graphics I made here. From what it looks like, there will probably be more content put into the game, as well. I originally discovered this game on Chuggaaconroy's channel. Interested, I decided to pick up the game and play alongside him. Currently, I'm replaying alongside him on my NG+ file because I'm still having that much fun with it (and I accidentally saved my Clear Data over my Save Data, but I still want to see all the post-game content). Now that this game will come to the Switch with a breath of fresh air, I've just got enough of an incentive to finish up my NG+ file.

Almost every time I involve them in my sprite comic, I have to custom-edit a new set of costumes onto their sprites for one occasion, and then, they'll never see the light of day again. Feels bad, man.

At least, it'll make good practice for Overworld spritework.
