Battle No. 14

Curtis challenges his new friend, Chad, to a battle.

7/23/15: Yes, it's finished! I'm sorry it wasn't done. I just wanted to move the story along, but now, you can enjoy the whole thing, and I just realized it's the longest battle I have to date. I can only imagine the champion battles! Nonetheless, let's focus on this battle. So, I'm sorry for a couple of inconsistencies, like the battle format randomly changing, along with the currency, but I did say I'd change it to USD. Sorry if it upsets you. If I really want to, I'll change it back to yen. So now, we feature a look into new spriting and a delve into part of Chad's personality. In regards to spriting, there's not much new rather than multiple poses for Chad and that small portrait of Thunder. As you can see, it's a portrait from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. It was 3D-like, so I had to work my way around it to make it look as official as possible, rather than just adding a few lines, and calling it a day. In regards to Chad, along with being a bit hyper and an early bird (as I mentioned in a journal), he seems to be a bit overconfident, insisting he'll win even if he's on the short end of the stick, but is this trait always a bad thing? Also, what or WHO exactly did he get this aspect from, and why?
